Ale Uwa is a small community in Western Ethiopia, more than a day's drive from Addis Ababa. In the community, there is a primary school, which has taught generations of local students.
​
The residents of Ale Uwa have big dreams: to build a secondary school for their children, to keep them healthy with a community health clinic, and to connect their community to the world beyond.
